Running Hard, Hardly Blogging

I cant believe it has been 11 days since I blogged last. I always get pissed when the people dont update the blogs I read, yet I dont always update mine.

I sort of have an excuse. I usally blog at work, and work has been really crazy lately, there is alot going on.

My running has been going really well, I had been running 3 miles a night 4 times a week and 6 on the weekends. I just kicked it up to 5 on the weekdays and 10 on saturday. My legs seem to be handling the extra milage pretty well.

I really need to nail down my race schedule for next year and send my money in. I tend to stay a little more motivated when there is money on the table.

I still need to get my bike going in the basement, but there has just been too much on my plate lately.

Hopefully it wont be another 10 days before I blog again.

Day Off

I took the day off from running. I had run pretty hard the day before and my legs were a little sore.

Im in the process of cleaning one of the room is the basement to make it an exersize room. My treadmill is allready in there but I have a bike and a weight bench that I want to have available to me.

My kids have so much toys and crap I cant believe it. I have packed away so many boxes of stuff and there is still so much more.

Tonight is an easy 4.

Feels good to Feel good

It feels good to feel better again, for about two weeks I just felt like crap. And when you feel like crap your runs show it. I would run, but just try to get through it and I was cutting them short.

Last night I felt good before I even started. I couldnt wait to run. I ran long and hard last night I felt good, I felt really strong, man that is a good feeling. Plus I got the benefit of a little runners high for the rest of the night.

I felt good until I started watching election returns last night, and saw the people of Michigan we making a huge mistake. How people can't see that the governor has run this states economy into the ground I dont know. Unemployment for the nation is 4% while michigan is 7%. The Single Business Tax with Governor jenny seems to love, is preventing businesses from coming to michigan and pissing of the ones that are here. How she thinks a tax that penalizes you for adding employees is good I dont know.

I think I need to move, this state is pissing me off. I think I need to run again know. Ugh.

Im Back

Man, how quickly a week goes by without blogging. I finally got sick early last week, It seems weird to say Im happy I got sick, but it felt like it was a long time comming. Now its gone any I feel a hell of alot better.

My parents came for a visit this weekend. They live about 9 hours away so we only see them a couple of times a year. I spent most of the last part of the week making the house presentable. I got to beleive they know the house isnt always that clean. Oh well.

Needless to say training was pretty much no existant last week. I did get a nice run in yesterday and plan on one tonight. I also cleaned a bunch of the kids toys out of the room where I have my treadmill, so I can get my bike and weight bench out.

On another note, I was watching the NYC marathon, and they were showing lance armstrong finish, and I thought I saw someone I new finishing in front of him. I wasnt sure why I thought that, it was just something about the way they acted when they finished. I went to the internet and found a picture and low and behold I was right it was one of my friends from high school. Wierd.
